San Diego, CA – Nautilus Air today announced it will conduct test flights from San Diego International Airport (SAN), with each flight lasting approximately one hour for a round-trip from and back to the same airport. The flights are designed to assess aircraft performance and operational procedures over the San Diego region, marking a pivotal step in the company's development efforts.
The test flights will originate and conclude at SAN, formerly known as Lindbergh Field, a major aviation hub serving Southern California. This location was selected for its diverse operating environment, enabling Nautilus Air to gather crucial data under real-world conditions.

The planned one-hour round-trip flights will allow Nautilus Air to collect extensive data while minimizing any disruption to airport operations or surrounding communities. The company stated that all flights will be conducted in close coordination with aviation authorities and will adhere strictly to all safety and regulatory requirements. Residents may notice the aircraft during these test periods, but Nautilus Air aims to limit any disturbance.
"These flights are strictly for testing and evaluation purposes," Davis clarified. "They do not involve commercial passenger service at this stage. Our focus is on data acquisition and validation of our operational capabilities."
